Dr. Brandao holds a PhD in Finance (PUC Rio), a MSc. in Civil Engineering (Stanford University) and a MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Dr. Brandão is currently an Associate Professor at the IAG Business School at PUC Rio, CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development) and FAPERJ (Rio de Janeiro State Foundation for Research Support) researcher. Was a lecturer at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin from 2002 to 2004. He has published academic articles in various international journals and is the recipient of the 2007 best paper in Finance Award from the Brazilian Academy of Management (ANPAD).
Leonardo Lima Gomes, Phd

Dr. Lima holds a Ph.D and MSc. in Industrial Engineering with emphasis in Finance (PUC Rio), is an assistant professor at the IAG Business School and business consultant in the areas of Energy and Finance. Business experience includes portfolio and risk management, energy trading and market analysis for energy companies. Dr. Lima has executive experience in the electricity industry where he was involved in structuring energy sales operations, purchase and sales coordination, price forecasting and risk management. His academic experience and research interests involve risk analysis, real option valuation and energy modeling.

PhD in Economics – Katholische Universitat Eichstatt (1999) and post-doctorate in Behavioral Finance from McMaster University (2009). Graduated in Business Administration – Universitat Bayreuth (1993) and Masters in Business Administration – Universitat Bayreuth (1994). He is professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. He has experience in Administration and Economics with emphasis in Financial Management, Capital Markets and Economics and International Finance, mainly in the following topics: corporate governance, behavioral finance, capital markets, econometrics, international finance and international economics. His academic experience involves published books and articles in Brazil and abroad.
Carlos de Lamare Bastian Pinto, Dr.

Ph.D in Business Administration with a concentration area in Corporate Finance from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2009) and winner of the Capes Prize for best Doctoral Thesis 2010 in Business. Master in Finance from IBMEC RJ (2004) and MBA IBMEC RJ (2001). He is head of the Undergraduate Program in Finance at PUC-RIo. Has experience in Administration, with an emphasis on Business and Valuation Project, especially for Real Options and Risk Analysis. He has worked in projects of Energy and Infrastructure and project analysis under conditions of risk, uncertainty and flexibility, also in conjunction with the Center for Research in Energy and Infrastructure (NUPEI) of PUC-Rio. Has consulted for more 15 years and worked at companies such as Vale in the area of business and projects valuation.

PhD (2017) PUC-Rio, MSc. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro – PUC-Rio (2012) and BS in Economics from UERJ (2003), with 10 years of large experience in private sector companies. He is currently researcher at the Center for Research in Energy and Infrastructure (NUPEI) at PUC-Rio and has worked on Research and Development (R&D) projects in energy finance, valuation projects using real options in energy and infrastructure, involving fundamentalist analysis. He has experience in consulting with emphasis on project analysis, capital structure and risk analysis.

Graduated in Business Administration from Universidade Veiga de Almeida – UVA (2016) and Technician in Work Safety from the Federal Center for Technological Education Celso Suckow da Fonseca – CEFET (2014). He studied at the Air Force Academy (AFA) and has two years of experience in the private sector in the area of Occupational Health and Safety. She is currently a researcher at NUPEI working on projects in the areas of Energy, Infrastructure, Public Private Partnerships, Blockchain Economics and Project Analysis in Conditions of Risk, Uncertainty and Flexibility.

Has over 10 years of experience in the private sector, working in large national and multinational companies. He is a researcher at NUPEI at PUC-Rio and works in Research and Development (R&D) in the area of energy finance.

Conducts research in the areas of Economics and Administration, with an emphasis on Innovation, Energy and Natural Resources. He was a professor in the Cryptocurrency Operator extension course offered by the Central Extension Extension at the PUC-Rio Coordination.
