Title: Project Valuation of Electric Power Generation from Alternative Energy Sources using Real Options Methods.
Jan/2010 a Jun/2012
Description: This project aimed to build a financial valuation model for renewable energy generation (wind, small hydro, biomass), more complete than the traditional Discounted Cash Flow model with scenario analysis . The approach includes risk analysis and Real Options method.
Title: A Decision Support Model for Power Purchase using Multi-Criteria Analysis and Performance Innovative Measures.
Dec/2009 a May/2012
Description: This project allowed to development of a decision support system for energy purchase, considering regulatory rules and energy load. Furthermore, we developed an innovative dynamic programming under uncertainty which comprises new and more effective performance metrics, using also multi-criteria analysis method to input variables in the model.
Title: Integrated Valuation Methodology and Resource Allocation in Power Distribution Based on Quantitative and Qualitative Attributes.
Jan/2009 a Jul/2010
Description: We developed an integrated methodology for resources valuation and allocation, aiming projects selection for the composition of the investment plan. This methodology takes into account the concept of prudent investment to provide the service of electricity distribution, and economic and financial return necessary for the continuation of the service.
Title: Integrated Valuation Methodology and Resource Allocation in Power Distribution Based on Quantitative and Qualitative Attributes.
Mar/2007 a Dec/2010
Description: In this project was developed a maintenance schedule of power generation units of an energy company, considering operating decision variables and financial criteria (using real options theory) that allowed the optimization of maintenance costs.
